The Team

Originated from the beautiful land of Kelantan, Sean had succumbed to the fact that he was born to dance after watching the ever influential movie "Strictly Ballroom". But his dream was put on hold as the harsh reality of Kelantan was that there is no such thing as "dance studio". After graduating from high school, he spread his dancing wings and migrated to the wonderful city of Kuala Lumpur in search of dancing studios while furthering his studies. Finally, he started his dance career by first venturing into Latin Ballroom in the year 2000. Filled with intense passion towards the art of dancing, he started dancing competitively just half a year later. He never looked back since then, continuing to pursue further in the Latin and Ballroom arena, reaping numerous titles like the Open and Close Malaysian top 3 Amateur couple, Conlay Club Salsa and Latin competition 2nd runner up, Sugar Club Salsa and Latin competition champion in 2005, just to name a few. Still hungry for more, Sean started to venture into Salsa under Dance Spirit Co. in April 2008. Under the mentorship of the ever well-known Fasilito, Sean began to blossom in more Latin American dances such as Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. In July 2008, he joined the Dance Spirit Performance Team after being invited to be an apprentice under maestro Fasilito. Still filled with strong passion to dance, there is no sign of stopping from this young chap.
