Moni’s was first introduced to Salsa through a friend in 2003. She fell in love with the dance instantly, took up classes under Fasilito, and later joined Dance Spirit Co. when the Taman Desa studio was set up in 2004. She gave her first Salsa performance in 2005 as part of a requirement for her Pre-Advanced class project, and went on to perform in many other private, corporate and charity events, most notably among them the Malaysian Salsa Festival (MSF) 2007. Besides being a member of the Dance Spirit Performance Team, currently Moni also holds the post of Public Relations Officer in Dance Spirit Co., whose work responsibility involves her in handling enquiries and dealing with recruitment and business sales.
