Emma started dancing when she was very young. She learnt Ballet, Fusion, Hip Hop, Ballroom and a little bit of Jazz. She has been actively involved in performing traditional dances in her school. Recently, she also danced in a few TV commercials.
Emma’s love relationship with Salsa all started in 2006 when she discovered that Salsa dancing could help her reveal her inner sexiness. It was then she decided to take up Salsa lessons. She immersed herself into Salsa and was soon addicted to it. With her parents’ strong support she was further encouraged to pursue her interest in Salsa dancing. After a few months of lessons, she started performing for corporate functions and at private functions such as weddings. She also started going to Salsa clubs to gain more experience in dancing. In 2008, she performed in the Malaysian World Latin Salsa Congress.
Having been trained under various dance studios, she has since joined Dance Spirit as a member of the DS Performing Team in October 2008. |
